I'm relatively new with Cubase and am in the middle of a project. All the guitars have been run thru my Avalon VT737 mic pre into Guitar Rig and have tracked great. Bass too. The drums have been built using BFD software. Now that I go to track vocals they sound terrible. I even tried another mic pre (Bellari MP105) to see if it was my Avalon or not and got the same results. I was told the hot pin on the input of the Avalon may need to be changed but the other pre sounded the same so I doubt it is that. I've tried +48 volt condenser mics to SM58's and the result is the same. Someone mentioned it might be a clock problem. Any one know what this might be? Thanks.
Frustrated
