Hi All!

I'm pretty new here.
I've been lurking for a while, but waited to post untill I received my G2. Well... I received it yesterday! This thing is just fantastic & the interface is amazing! Crazy what you can do with al those morph-groups & stuff...

But I have some small questions...
* Is there a way to adjust the display-contrast of the LCD's?
* The left display (the master display I guess) becomes rather hot
after a couple of hours (especially on the rightside).
but when it gets hot, it also turns darker & darker making it difficult to read from certain angles. anyone else have that same problem?

Welcome to electro-music.com. welcome

I don't know how to adjust the display contrast.

I have had my G2 on for many days continuously. All of the LCDs are very cool. In fact, I can't detect any hot or warm spots anywhere on my G2. Maybe you better send it back for exchange or repair.

When I came home from work this evening I also noted my racks to run very cool, my impulse was 'must be the lack of lights', but apparently not.

I was surprised especially as the Classic runs pretty warm - already thought I saw signs of a switched mode power supply when I built in the expansions. (the Classic, in contrast, has a linear power supply)

Jan.
