Hello all you Nordlers.

For those who haven't heard yet (or somehow didn't yet receive an invitation), on July the 3rd, 4th and 5th 2004 will be the sixth edition of the annual Nord Modular Event. This year the event returns to The Hague, after two years in London.

The Event is organized in the Gemeentemuseum The Hague.

Saturday will be about electronic music in general. It will start with a trip into the past with a presentation of electronic music made at the Philips Natlab studio's around 1960. This studio was one of the forerunners in the late fifties and early sixties, e.g. its where Varèse made Poème Électronique. Lots of old recordings have recently been remastered for CD and this CD box will be presented.
Of course there is also the latest 2004 developments and these will be covered by Legowelt and Kassen.
And in between will be subjects like 'circuit bending', covered by Joker Nies from Germany and lots of other topics. Program is still subject to changes.

Sunday is the 'toys for boys ánd girls' day, where everyone can show off with their equipment. Whatever you think is worth showing off, its fine by us. And Clavia is present, of course.

Monday is noodling on the beach day. This day we will have a real nice beach club all for ourselves and the idea is to get a collective NM/G2 noodle going, though a dive in the sea will be just 50 meters away. So, don't forget your swimsuit.

The Event is all about meeting each other. Electronic music and modular synthesizers are the main theme, but food, drink and general merriment have also become an important tradition in this Event. There are guys flying in over an area ranging from Frisco to Helsinki, which must be something like half around the world.
So, everyone (that is you!) is wholeheartedly invited by our dear Wout Blommers, who is the COO (Chief Organizing Officer) and the rest of the organizing committee.
"Thanks to our sponsors" there are no entrance fees, and you can even see famous paintings like Victory Boogywoogy by Mondriaan for free in the Museum. Or the vast collection of Maurice Escher works. And of course a selection from the Museum modular synthesizer collection.

If you want more information contact Wout Blommers at:

Come ye all!!!
