Hi,

I want to announce the existence of Neon Electronics (a spin-off of The Neon Judgement). Visit their website www.neon-electronics.org and let me know your opinion on the music, the visuals and the website itself.

Great looking site. A little challenging to navigate. I found some great links as are reward for trying to find my way around though. Great visuals...

welcome

Well,

electro80 you are probably working on Mac?
We had a headache trying to find out how we could place streamable audio (of good quality and with a good compression) on the website that is compatible with all platforms.
We stuck to the WMA format with an embedded Windows Media Player, but - we are aware of that - isn't working on Mac Crying or Very sad
If you have any suggestion on how we can tackle that problem, we would greatly appreciate it.
Nevertheless, we are planning to adapt the sounds page, so that it works on the Mac also.

In case you still want to listen to the sounds, here are the direct links:
Ten
All I want
G.G. on the run
Hotel
Funky D Tunes
Body Groove

Note: you will need Windows Media Player for these links to work.

i have wmp for my mac and i still cant play/stream these tracks. i think it's safer just to post song frags in mp3 form. you'll address a wider audience this way. thanks!

Well we are working on implementing a flash player for the tracks.
We tested the links above on Mac OSX with WMP9 and it worked.

Problem with MP3 is that the size/quality-ratio isn't as good as MPEG4 compression. Besides, WMA and Quicktime both have the possibility to gracefully stream the audio, which results in a better user experience.
However, now you have no experience at all Crying or Very sad for which I am sorry.

If time allows, I will tackle this problem.

I downloaded the files by right clicking and saving-as, and then used winamp version 5+ to play them, and it was flawless. Perhaps downloading rather than a stream would be best until the streaming is sorted out?

Hope this helps you fella's Smile

Welcome to the forum. Very interestingly designed site - well done.

I remember listening to neon judgement in the 80's... friends had earlier stuff - I had (well have) blood and thunder.

LOL, I had fun with the media player, and graphics were cool.

I can see where some had trouble with the navigation, that could be a bit clearer, it took me a few seconds to get it.

Discog was niiice too. Hotel and Funky D-tunes had me boppin.
