Anyone else having a problem with sticky buttons on their G2?
I now have three of them. It's very frustrating - I don't want to have to send it in to get fixed, it's my main synth now and I'm completely dependent on it.

I can't remember where I read it now but I know someone said they fixed that problem.
As I recall, they determined which button edge was 'catching', opened the unit and gently pushed the switch away from the point of contact.
Thats how I remember it but, you should take the usual antistatic precautions Shocked
I could be wrong about opening the case, perhaps try from the outside first.

yeah, i had a sticky button, too, and i've read a couple other's comments about having sticky buttons. in my case, i just kept pressing it until it went away. i wouldn't be surprised if it came back, though.

Yes, I saw that other post about the sticky button.
But it my case it doesn't seem like it's caused by the button rubbing against the faceplate. However, it does seem that the buttons that work right have some left-to-right "wiggle" in them, whereas the ones that get stuck don't do that. Maybe I will open it up and poke around, but I'mmore likely to make things worse by doing that.

My sole sticky button stopped sticking after a few weeks. It's plastic rubbing against metal, so chances are that it wore down and won't sttick again.
