My first sound library - tech / sci-fi sounds

The library contains 28 tech/sci-fi sounds in Ogg Vorbis format (laser beams, pulsations, beeps and static, etc.). It's more "audio raw material" than something you'd use as notes. If you'd like to hear an example of what can be done with it, I made Bzzzt Bzzzt, Bing! (which I recently uploaded here in the Online Music section) entirely with the library. I hope it contains some sounds you find useful.

I have intially gone with the Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1.0 license for the library, after scratching my head quite a bit between that, public domain dedication, and several of the many other free licenses available. How do you all feel about that license? My primary concern in a free license is that the users of the library be comfortable with it.

(Moderators, feel free to move this if I posted it in the wrong section. I was a bit uncertain as to whether to place it here or in the Visual and Sonic Material, Wanted and Available section, but it looks like those who are uploading similar material are placing it here.)

That CC license is probably your best bet to give you recourse against someone who tries to appropriate or otherwise sell your samples.

Thanks for posting this. I don't know if I'll ever use them myself, but they are good samples to know I can use.

The other top contender in my mind (to the Creative Commons Sampling Plus license) was to just do a public domain dedication, but aside from the advantage you mentioned of going with CC, I noticed that CreativeCommons.org states on one of their pages:
