My latest uncomposition for Piano & Minimoog. Still toying with mechanisms to increase the perceived musicality of random and pseudo-random note streams. Slot B is providing the notes, this time using sets of RndPattern (thanks EGW) and RndTrigger modules. The variations contain different sub-patterns, repeat counts and event probabilities.
The yellow modules provide an optional gradual transition in tempo between variations.
Under them is a group of modules centred around a set/reset flip flop. The idea being to provide a gate trigger whose start and end was selected randomly from 1 in 4 different synchronous points. The shape and phase input of the master LFO is also modulated. Modulating the shape is similar to a real player quantizing the note starts but not the note ends (less mechanical).
The minimoog in slot D does not have its own note generators, a midizone module in the Piano slot transfers a transposed subset of notes to the mini (handy for creating layered sequences).

Nice term, uncomposition. I like this thing you made, so please keep them uncompositions coming.
Now it does remind me a bit to a noodle, but that is something else, isn't it?Smile

One way or another, I'm amazed by the productive and creative output you deliver.
Cudoos.

I share Wan's amazement.

This is a very nice noodle.
