Ken Stone seems to be out of them, Elby requires me to order a kit to get the board, which if I have to I will do, but I was hoping to just find a board and if possible save a little on shipping (I'm in the U.S. and the cost to ship the board + parts kit from Australia is pretty high).

Thanks!

If you have a look at the current exchange rate, you'll find that a decapitated Australian dollar makes the Elby kit and postage to the US a BARGAIN for those in the US!

Why no just do it on perfboard? It's so simple, I just did a layout in my head that is 10 by 5 holes. Cool

Good point. Incredibly cheap that way too (except the FPE MOTM panel for it Smile )

Even with the exchange rate on the Aus dollar it was going to cost me almost $40 for a board & kit I could easily put together an order for myself well under $10 (and actually already have most of the parts for anyway), so unless I was planning to order more stuff from Elby at this time (I've somewhat locked my build queue for a while I have such a backlog) it still wasn't worth it.

However the really nice guy at Elby has offered to sell me just a PCB charging me only 2 Aus dollars for shipping to the U.S.

Unfortunately I think he has an older PCB and the new one sounds like it will drive a multiple/handle a load better due to the redesign of the output, so I think I'll perfboard that one.

Thanks!
