Alternate Display Mode

I dont like the way the G2 uses it displays. It usually has 3 lines of display information. 1st Module Name, 2nd KnobName or function, 3rd Value.

In many situations i ve to press the Display Mode button to see what i want to see..the Value of a named knob.

I would enjoy the G2 more if there would be an alternate display mode that just swaps the second and third line.

If this would be the case I would see than what i need to know and only in a few situations i ve to press the displaymode button to see the function .

The mixers should be excluded in this game because they are good the way it is displayed now but the switches would bennefit a lot...This "source" in the 2nd lin is realy a waste of a good display line. Just module name and status...that would be fine.

Maybe there are a few other modules where it would be good if they would be excluded from an alternate display mode.

In general i think the display tactic should be overworked ... maybe better than an alternate mode. Just optimize the display mode for max information and leaving unecessary or secondary inf. for the 3rd line.

The divider module is a good example. I dont need to know that its a divider. I need to know what it is doing (name) and the factor. When i am curious i can press the display mode button and see that it is an divider.
