it's also the sum of 333 and 333
in numerology 333 is a 9, so is 666
9 is a diagonal mirror of 6
999 is also a 9 in numerology
666 is 3 6's, 6 + 3 = 9
666 is another way of saying 9 or, if you like, a perversion of 9.

When I grew up, there were gas stations of the brand "666". They are gone forever now because some religious Christians wouldn't buy gas there because 666 is the number of the devil.

I don't pay much attention to numbers having special meaning. It seems like superstition to me. It's all mumbojumbo.

Of course, the letter W does truly represent evil. Watch out for that one...
