Ableton Live Control

I would like to ask if it would be possible to make up a new patch category
for "external control" making it easy to share the work on patches controlling external gear.
I would make a start with my Ableton control patch, nothing special but a 16 channel volume control, 16 channel mute control, 16 channel 2 Aux sends, a little EFX control and 16 button, 16 knobs not predefined.
Of course this patch has to be set up in Ableton before it could be used.

I hope to start an vivid exchange of gear controller Wink

Hi alll

So far I figured out how to send a note on message assigned to the cell in order to record and trigger a cell but I cannot get the note on message to arm my track.

I used a Momentary Switch on/off module connected to a MIDI note send module. Live 7 picks up the MIDI message, achieve to assign it to Record arm but surprise, nothing happens when I push the button on the G2. I had to mangle a bit with level conversion (from Bipolar to Pos if I remember) in order to send one clean note @ 100 Velocity.

Does anyone have suggestions of what could be the problem? It works fine if I use a note from the keyboard but not if I use a note triggered from the assigned buttons.
