Here's the 1st video of my new noise machine
In this 10:19 long video, I'm using the following modules:
5 x CD40106 oscillators
2 x CD4023 Pulse Width Oscillators
1 x CD4053 SPDT switch
3 x CD40106 oscillators
1 x CD4052 4 Stage LFO
2 x CD4015 4 bit shift registers
2 x Liquid Voices
2 x 2 Input Pannable Mixers (4 inputs total)
2 x Slacker 4017 / 4051 Melody Generators
1 x 7 bit frequency divider / counter
2 x MFOS Sequencers (Gate version)
Can you tell more about the CD4052 4 Stage LFO ? I have maybe 10 CD4052 I need to put to some use.. Do you have some sample's of this module alone ? Also what are the "Control In" and "A & B" ?

The 4 Stage LFO is the CD4052 used to switch between 4 different pots for the LFO's current speed. With the Control Inputs A and B both at Ground (no input voltage), Bit #1 for both of the CD4052's 2 x 1:4 / 4:1 multiplexers is selected. Pot # 1 is hooked up to the Bit #1 section.
If a HIGH voltage is sent to Control Input A with Control Input B held LOW (at Ground), then pot #2 at the Bit #2 position is selected and IT's speed is used for the LFO. speed.
If a HIGH voltage is sent to Control Input B with Control Input A held LOW (at Ground), then pot #3 at the Bit #3 position is selected and IT's speed is used for the LFO. speed.
Finally, if a HIGH voltage is input to Control Inputs A AND B then pot #4 at the Bit #4 position is selected and IT's speed is used for the LFO. speed.
That way, if you send LOW / HIGH voltages to the 2 inputs at which ever rates that you like, you'll get an LFO cycling with 4 different speeds, depending on how long each of the Bit positions, is selected for.

Thanks alot !
No troubles.
Ooops - samples. Right. In one of my very early tune demostrations that I posted here a few weeks ago, you're able to hear the 4 Stage LFO slowing modulating one of my Thomas Henry precision Triangle VCOs.
I'll have to do a specific recording of the 4 Stage to demonstrate it more properly. (I've been meaning to do that with a few of my modules, to post their examples on my bulletin board. If not tomorrow then possibly early next week.)
Oh so the 4052 is not the LFO but is just switching the pot's for an LFO ?
Exactly. The # of things that it can be used for switching, is wonderful.
Some time last year I'd posted a beta tested circuit example of using the 4052 to switch between 4 waveshapes, for an LFO. (The KAOS LFO). I haven't built one of them since, tho.
