Hi folks

I'm building a new internet PC and i was wondering if the motherboard audio line inputs would be ok for feeding my studio mixer outputs on the night of equinox.

My sound card is in my music PC which is isolated from the internet and i don't know whether to get a usb audio box for the new PC to improve the streaming of my music on the event (if it makes a difference or not in upload quality).

sorry for lack of knowledge in this area.

looking forward to this immensely.

Dave

Dave,

Edcast, which is what I use, allows you to select you audio source. I don't see whay It (or any broadcasting software) would not let you select your stereo inputs of your sound device. If you have your PC together, just install Edcast and see if you line in's appear in the drop down list Wink

With streaming, latency is not really an issue so your default driver should work fine there to.

This is also very helpful:

Hope this helps ...

If you can record throught the motherboard audio inputs and it sounds OK then it should be OK for streaming, especially as we only stream at 128 kbps
