Wow, you have a more capable mind than I. I've been working on Flash for over a year and still find it very difficult.

Yeah, I gues so. I wasn't using it for animation design but to build a media player. As a programming language, Active Script is not quite there yet, and writing code that is attached to a bunch of different graphical elements is difficult to keep track of and debug. Still, it's pretty darn powerful. I wish they would support other audio formats than mp3, but you can't have everything.

i enjoyed your flute & percussion track (only heard track one so far)
it reminded me a little of Frank Zappa's the Yellow Shark, ensemble modern

If you perform it live again I reckon you should have a couple of LIVE kick boxers fighting in the background, providing some of the sound effects, they should even have music stands & maybe tuxedos Laughing

You're probably talk about the 1st movement of my Flute Concerto. It's purpose is to set you up for the 2nd movement. Laughing

Any reference to Zappa with respect to my music is a very high complement. Thanks very much. salut

I've been listening to some of you music. Very nice. I was a little confused that you use the builtin mp3 player and that you select the next tracks via the player.

Lots of variety. My favs: Eight, Lament, Octoboy, Escapologist

I can hear the Zappa influence in there very strongly. A good bit of humor but always dead serious. Confused

Good stuff... I like it.

cheers well done well-done

I haven´t figured out how to hear the music yet. The player seems to be playing but I get no sound. What´s up? I can hear all that wind though.

Can't figure out your music player. But the one track I heard I really liked. Very atmospheric. I couldn't seem to get any other tracks.

if you listen to tracks 8 & 9 from the circus of sh*t contributions+ CD, they are very similar to some of my "ambient" tracks. I have recorded several CDs of this type of stuff. If any one likes these particular "spacey" tracks let me know, they do not follow any set pattern apart from constantly evolving. I basically make any music that I want.

I think Im rambling so goodbye!!!

The piece called Eight is very nice indeed. A very fine piece it is.

The others won´t load. I have no problem figuring out the player, it is just that the songs apart from Eight.. won´t load. How have you set this up? Will the player preload the lot if possible or what?

Huh? Forgot what I just wrote ... the songs are starting load now.. Shocked Very Happy

The GUI is a both confusing.. well.. it all depends really.

When you enter a page with a player like this one.. the songs are not playing. You have the stop forward back play buttons right.. And when you press "play" it shows the next possible state for that button which is pause.. and when you press pause you see the play button again as the alternate state of that button. Anyway.. so far the lot here sounds very nice indeed. there is a cute Gongish feel to the lot, but I kinda still like track 9... the "Eight" best.

Huh... this indeed sounds like brit early 70s psychedelic music.. with a nice touch of prog and Houdini. ( Why the Houdini?... Well.. that always escapes me.. Shocked )

Keep it up you frothing one.. this is very nice stuff.

Man... those midgets are really getting the fur polished eh?

Yeah, I'm still having trouble hearing all the tracks too. Some load some don't. Also if you're going to have a flash interface, I'd suggest having a volume control somewhere. With flash- less is more, so maybe drop the wind sound and some of the extraneous animations. Might load faster. Plus, rolling clown heads scare the crap out of me. From what I can hear though, your music is great. Very dreamy. I like the creepy vocal processing too!
