what's in Howard's hands? |
|
|
I wonder what is that object pointing at me in the newest avatar by Howard.
The etymology of the word "avatar" according to the Merriam-Webster OnLine Dictionary is: Sanskrit avatAra descent, from avatarati he descends, from ava- away + tarati he crosses over
Date: 1784
1 : the incarnation of a Hindu deity (as Vishnu)
2 a: an incarnation in human form
2 b : an embodiment (as of a concept or philosophy) often in a person
3 : a variant phase or version of a continuing basic entity
Now.....what that menacing object has to do with Vishnu incarnation?
P.S.
is this schmooze or what? _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

That object Howard is holding?
.....But that is an Acme Solid Matter Translator - easy to mistake that one with the Acme Silent Mutation Tittilator... the size and colour is pretty much the same. Last edited by elektro80 on Mon Dec 10, 2007 5:45 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Ahh.. well.. dunno what this has to do bout Vishnu or hindu stuff..
Acme has this party kit.. the Acme Instant Mahatmi Gandhi - or Instant Guru.. as they decided to call the reissue. Hmm.. the sales of the Acme Chamberlain Moderator - Personal Edition has been climbing.. possibly that one is a far better partykiller.
Product shot of the Acme Roadrunner Spray etc..:

Curious as I am about words I dont understand, I went

We should start a poll about it. The entries should be:
1) a remote controller to blow up the entire world
2) a device to turn internet on and off
3) a huge chocolate cookie
4) 4 lbs of pizza dough
5) a voodoo doll
anything else? _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

The Acme Solid Matter Translator will create a stored pixel array of whatever it is pointed at when triggered. The arrays can be moved onto various Acme storage devices and can also be printed on paper or viewed on an Acme Structured Photon Array Dispersal Unit.
I guess other vendors call it a digital camera. |

One of you brilliant minds has correctly identified this object. No, it is not a device to turn of the internet; we have passed that threshold. Now that much of the internet is wireless, the signals are forever an eternal part of the cosmos. |
