Hello Yves and everyone. I didn't work on my synth for some time now, but from this week I'm going to continue building it. I only was wondering how to connect it the right way to my amp. The output from the VCA is 10vpp if I'm not mistaking. If I feed this directly into the amp I will most likely blow my speakers if I don't watch out.

How to solve this? How to make the output a good line level?

Yes If you plug it directly to an amp you must be carefull with the levels.
The yusynth VC-Pan/Ouput module offers a level conversion and its output can be set to accomodate amp input voltage levels. But anyway if you plug the VCA output to a mixer console, in general you have a prefader attenuator that let you pre-attenuate the signal.

BTW, this level problem is valid for all the modulars around except if the manfacturer provides a dedicated output module. Wink

That is what I already expected. Is there some sort off cable that I can buy, or make, that will attenuate the signal good enough to bring it to line level?
