Thanks,

i used 9mm alpha.
you don't need threaded bushing. the sockets will hold the PCB in place.

Boards are here Cool

As usual, thanks a bunch for outstanding projects, Matthias!

EDIT: I'm soldering components ATM in an attempt not to accumulate any more backlog. Is it correct that there is no D2 on the board? Obviously, function is not impaired, so should I piggyback it onto R44 or just leave it out of the circuit?

D2 is not needed. trigger out works fine without it.

Decided to experiment with inverse printing, to try for a more traditional look....

Made some mistakes to learn from on my first try, but still closer to what I would like to see than I've been able to do so far....

To assuage my pain at not having the last 3 100k trimmers I need, nor being able to get them locally, here is the panel with components on it Smile

How did I miss this? If there is a slim chance of any main boards left, I'd be very interested in a couple...

I'd been away for a few days and found the boards waiting on my return. Really good looking boards; lovely work, (as always!).

Thanks again. Fonik.

you did not miss anything, actually. for the current small re-run i ordered a few spares (as always).

so what do you need/want? i offer 3 aprts this time:
the actual circuit board,
an eurorack front panel components PCB, and
an eurorack front panel (printed).

I would like 2 main PCBs. If it's not too much trouble, would it be possible to wait for the 555 VCOs and combine shipping?

After hearing about DecalPRO on this forum, I decided to try it to make a Frac panel. I took off too much with the tape, and I need to get the alignmnet right, but it didn't come out too terribly:

wow, that looks awesome! but it quite a lot of work, isn't it? how many panels had you to make until you got this nice result?

the new PCBs came in today! however, i am still waiting for the front panels.

so:
i will now start to contact all who placed pre-orders for PCBs only, providing payment info's.

i will combine shipping and packaging for all who placed orders for both the VCO and the LFO.

please be aware, i am currently selling 4 different PCBs + front panels. there are quite a few orders to fullfill. i hope you are patient with me. it might take a while until i contact you, and packaging and mailing will take a little bit longer than usual, i guess.

Actually, that was the first try; I lost some detail on the finer lines, and I'll try some wider ones.

It's really not too much work; it's kind of a decal version of Press 'n Peel Blue.

You print the design on the decal paper, laminate it to the white material, peel the white material off, clean off the excess (that's where I'm removing too much material), laminate a clear carrier material onto it, soak the paper off, spray on the glue, and then stick it to the panel. Start to finish, the first one took maybe 20 minutes.

If I can keep from losing bits of the design, it should be a good process.

Hi fonik
I can see on picture that also here you are using 50k trimmers instead of 25k (similar as you propose for VCO-555).
So I assume that it could work also on 15V.
I have also some spare 47k, can I use them also as replacement for these 25k?

of course you can. you could even use 100k. it is wired as a variable resistor, not as a voltage divider. the problem is that you will have less of usable range. when trimming (not a big issue with 25-turn precision trimmers).

I can't seem to source the 2n5461, anyone know of an equivalent (would J112 work?). If not, has someone got one I could buy?
