Hi everyone,

Im reading the datasheet of the LM13700. I want to know how to calculate Iout from Iabc and Vin without the use of the linearization diode. Im trying to understand this little IC. But its really unclear at this point and I really need some explanation.

But even better, if someone can explain me the configuration of the LM13700 around the TLC555 on VCO-555 it will be awesome. I understand the square wave core and that LM13700 is charging the capacitor with Iout. But I want to know how to calculate Iout from Iabc.

Also, on that same schematic, why is there voltage dividers on the differential inputs.

Thanks

Check out these lectures by Professor Aaron Lanternman, he has one or two lectures dedicated to OTAs.

Not sure if it's still there, but his site at Georgia Tech had a donate button too, to help support the videos.... Smile
