Hi all,

Have been interested in electronics from a very young age. Have been enjoying this hobby on and off for more than 30 years. Tried to do a degree in electrical & electronics engineering straight after high school, but ended up dropping out, not enough studying, too much:

party time!

In the nineties I owned various synths digital and analogue and created some of my own music. I sometimes integrated some of my diy electronics into my music production , e.g. an analogue filter that was swept by the incoming signal, to add warmth to digital synth sounds. Ialso made a trigger circuit to sync my juno 6 and jx3p to a digital drummachine. However circumstances changed and sadly all the synths are gone now.

However, my electronics hobby has been ongoing and I've accumulated a large collection of components, which is still regularly topped up.

Around 2002 I designed a number of analogue percussion sounds which Iam keen to develop. Iam looking to develop some original circuitry and keen to get involved in discussions about the diy side of things. Hopefully my years of doing electronics will make me of some use to anyone else around here needing help with their circuitry.

Currently Iam experimenting with 4000B CMOS chips. Looking at developing circuits for generating trigger patterns for my drum circuits.
