Hi there,
i started getting into music production 2 years ago on ableton and now i'm getting interested in live performing and after a lot of youtube and forums, i decided to buy an apc 40 mk2, my first gear apart from my brother's irig keys.
Most of what i do on ableton is chill deep melodic techno and some times a little of house when i feel hyped. But when live performing my aim is jazzy house and some proper techno.
So the thing is i have some other gear in mind
i dont want to spend more than 300€, i know its not a lot but as a beginner i don't need either high end or huge gear, in fact, size is be very important as i study in madrid, spain and go home a lot canary islands, spain (i take flights every time so lugage size and weight is a problem) so:
-a sampler to throw in some nice vocals and stuff, i thought of novation's launchpad which i can also use as a step sequencer for my drums and it's very small, what do you think?
-a synth, for producing being able to really experiment with some basses and pads on the go and also to enrich my live set. I thought of korg volca bass, again really convinient size, it would be perfect good for my melodic techno but what about for some housy style bass? Any suggestions?
-drum machine, do you think i need this more than the previous? If so, what do you have in mind?
-might also get something like a behringer bcr 2000 to have some more knobs to play with. Very cheap but also very chinese.
-this doesn't have much to do with music and goes apart from the budget, but some of you might help me with it. A 20-30 inch screen monitor for producing.
As i said im a begginer on this so any suggestion is good.
thankyou very much for reading and sorry for my bad english
