Hi all--
I've just finally signed up for the forum after lurking around here and finding a lot of useful info here over a decade of DIY building and fixing synths. I'm now a professional synth tech living and working in Philadelphia, and a performing musician as part of a duo making dreamy, soundtracky electronic music.

One of the main reasons I wanted to join was so that I could "give back" by sharing advice on the synth repair/building side of things myself, since i know so well what it's like to scour the internet (and especially this forum) hoping someone has had the same problem as me.

or in case there's another version of myself from another timestream searching for the solutions to tech problems I had to learn the hard way.
