This is a bit strange indeed, when the clock divider would react on negative edges only it could not possibly divide by 1 I'd say ... do you do something with the reset input maybe ?

Sure the divider can be set to 1, it shouldn't change the incoming signal that way but just pass along anything on its clock input.

I started a thread on this one in the bug section, along with an easy demopatch:

i also see an implementation prolem for clavia there.. a modular synth actually should be able to process 2 overlapping notes on the same pitch..It should retrigger on the next note on command...we should report that to clavia...they have done drumtriggers for years... i dont think the dd drum stuff works much different...
Have you tryed the different poly and mono modes of the G2?

I was already saying that months ago, it's a part of the messy and limited polyphony implementation. Still; for drums this isn't all that nesicary. If you hit a tom twice quickly then the second hit will be hitting a moving membrane so it makes sense to send it to the same voice so you can emulate that. Identical pitches being send to the same voice often makes sense, it just doesn't make sense to ignore new note on's. This needs to be configurable anyway, I already wrote a million times about why that's important so I'm not doing that again now.
