Hi all,
Can anyone shed any light on why, in the attached patch, if I change from variation 2 to var. 1, the volume in var. 1 is really low. But if I change to var. 3 and then to var. 1, the volume is as it should be...?? Confused
Angus

Wow. I can reproduce this on my G2X, so you're not hallucinating, at least about his patch. Laughing

This is a stumper. I think the problem is in the yellow Filter Static module on the far right of the poly area because if you switch on the bypass button, the volume change going from var 2 to 1 goes away.

Explaining it is another thing. Maybe some guru can enlighten us. That's as far as I can get.

I get that too. And if you just tweak one of the filter knobs a tiny bit, the volume jumps up again. Very bizarre. Would appear to be a bug in that module. The other wierd thing is that it only happens when switching from v2 to v1, none of the other variations. And I don't have anything assigned to morph groups.
One thing I have notiiced is that it happens when the filter is set to hi-pass in the previous variation...

When I strip down the patch to one osc (doesn't matter what type), the filter and an output module the problem is still there. It's as if on variation change some parameters of the filter are not updated. Seems definitely a bug to me, can't think of anything else (I removed all morphs and all front panel knobs as well, just to be sure).

I'd report it it to Clavia, as otherwise the 1.4 software will certainly still have this.
