Today Koney (www.koney.org) gave me an idea about using an a boosted signal coming from a digital synthesizer audio output. I've tried that using my G2X and Korg MS10. The result is very cool. The MS10 responds to those audio signals but the pitch scale come out inverted (a la Joe Zawinul).

Video 1: Fist Attempt
This is my first attempt. As you can see, the MS10 Env is totally bypassed using the mod wheel to VCA.

Video 2: G2 Sequence to MS10
Now i'm playing a random sequence generated by the G2 directly into the MS10. Cool, isn't? Wink

Enjoy also the patch used to do those tests. Try it with your analog equipment and post your results. I'm very curious to see what happens on other machines.

Might check out this thread as well, it will probably be very similar for MS10s and MS20s, only no pitch converter on the MS10 Sad

All I can see is a green screen on these videos. I'm on W'2000, using WMP9, and also tried with VLC Player.

ok, what do i do? i plug the G2 out into the V/Oct on my analog?

ok, i got it.

this short demo is the patch above with G2 1 out into Evenfall Mini Modular VCO 1 V/OCT. Then G2 2 into VCO 2 V/OCT and VCO 2 is mixed in. Then VCO 2 is mixed out and G2 2 goes into VCF FM and tweaked. Then G2 2 goes into VCO 1 FM and tweaked.
