Hi all,

quick question.

I've recently started building the SLMS and can't wait to finish it and start playing around with it.

I have heard lots of samples and songs made with it which all sound very cool, but I've never heard anyone use it as a squelchy bassline synth.

Please don't tell me it's not capable of making these noises as I may cry.

I'm not expecting it to be a tb303 clone but I would imagine it has a nice squelch to it (the WSG does).

If not can anyone recomend a good (cheap) DIY squelch machine..

Cheers

Daz

ps if it does can someone please please please post some samples on this post.. much appreciated

Don't worry, it can deliver some nice bass lines. I use it with the 16 step sequencer and it sounds the best when turned to those low frequencies with a little bit of VCF modulated by the LFO and lots of reso Twisted Evil

EDIT: Though the frequency tracking on the oscillators is not the best so I think it is best controlled by a step sequencer.
