MFOS SVF "fix"

Hi Guys.

before i decide to sell the SVF i just want to make sure that the "problem" is not with me.
i need help to understand why the BP and the HP sounds like they sound.
i'm not very happy with the BP and HP sounds.
it seems that the BP sounds like something between LP and BP and the HP sounds like something between BP and HP.
is it usual for this design?
actually Ray's old SVF design sounds like i think it should be (at list to my ears).

please let me know if the BP and HP should sound like this..

old design reso pot all the way up.
new design reso pot is half way.

new design HP - it will sound good to you, but i want more reso and if i turn the reso a bit more the low freq's is going up and does not sound like HP, it sound like something between BP and HP.


i wish the old design had more reso to go up, i like the sound very much.

i did the reso pot of the new design half way on purpose, when turning the reso pot a bit half way the low freq's is going up.
in the half way position is the closest in sound to BP and HP.

any help with this matter will be much appreciated.

maybe some one can upload sound clip of their MFOS SVF BP and HP sounds please?
if its possible please make the reso pot half way and freq pot from all the way down to all the way up, i really appreciate this.
i just want to compare the sound.

This will probably be no help at all. It's stating the obvious. They do not sound correct to my ears either.

That said, listening to the identical type samples on the MFOS SVF page, these also don't sound quite right either. The problem is I can't quite work out what Ray is doing. Does he vary the "frequency" over the time of the clip ? The BP doesn't quite sound correct.

My only current comparison is a Korg MS2000 which has LP/BP/HP at 12db per octave.

Someone else ??

I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one that think like that.
I heard the BP samples from Rays site and they don't sound like BP should sound at all.
This is very strange to have his final SVF design like that when his older design sound so good.
I wish someone here that own mfos svf can confirm the BP issue.
