FM-amount

Asking questions in this forum is a rewarded thing to do, thanks.
Now I´ve got another question.
FM-amount, how to tweak the amount that, say Osc A is FM'ing Osc B, other than assigning the button to a knob, a morph or any midicontroller? What I would like to do is to have an Env pulling the FM-amount from Osc A to Osc B up and down, but I see no way to do it other than assigning an Env straight in to the FM-In on Osc B and this does not produce the same timbre as having Osc A FM'ing Osc B.
Does anyone have a clue?

Is this what you mean? The output of OSC A goes into an envelope and parallel with the envelope a gain controller. The output of the envelope and the gain controller are mixed and put in the FMB input of OSC B whose FMB-knob should be open on a fixed position all the time. The constant module (Knob1) controls the basic amount of FM, the X-fade module adds or subtracts the enveloped signal resulting in an up or down sweep. Some provision is made to have the envelopes signal never to exceed the constants value.
Knob1 is asigned to the constant module to set the basic FM-amount, Knob2 is set to the X-fade knob that controls the amount of sweep and Knob3 modulates the amount of sweep.

Maybe it works when you put a constant module in the amp control of the Env.

How about this one?
