Morph curves

One limitation of using controlling various parameters with morph groups is that the changes occur linearly. What would be nice would be to be able to draw a curve for the response of each parameter. Maybe some would be linear, some exponetial, some logarthmic, some parabolic. This would allow far greater control over morphing parameters.

The morphs are actually controlled by the hostprocessor, not by the DSP's. So a morph controls the knobmovement, not the value underlying the knob. This means that a morph is never more accurate than a knob and if the morph moves the knob over five values only, turning the morphknob fully will still only produce those five values. You can give a morph somewhat more resolution if you assign it to a Constant module, let the morph control the whole range of the constant module and send the output of the Constant through a Smooth (antizipper) module and maybe a Shaper log/exp processor from the Audio tab to change the curve. E.g. when I make a patch for my WX5 breathcontroller I assign a morph to Midi CC#2 (Breath), assign a Constant to the morph, feed the output of the constant to a Shaper module set to Log1. I prefer to use a 6dB LP filter set to 98 Hz as antizipper. Somehow I don't entirely trust the Smooth module. The output, which is now pretty smooth, can be used to control several other modules, sometimes with the aid of a gaincontroller module.
Have a look at the example patch.
