Swing Drum Sequencing

Can anyone give me some tips on creating reggae/dub style drum sequencing using the Nord Mod? The closest I seem to be able to come is to have the clock divider at 8, and use a 12 step sequencer grid. This seems to give me the hip-hop type 'swing' feel when programmed like this.

Are there any patches out there I could use for a starting place to do reggae/dub stuff?

Errm, I'm trying to work out what you mean - it's probably just me. Dub and reggae tend to be based around twelve-step bars (ie beats divided into triplets). Although most of the notes and hits typically fall on the first and third steps of eah given beat, giving it the reggae type swing, the second step is often used for contrasting rhythms.

However, if you just want to give swing to your sequence (where every second step is played late) you can do this with the 'Swing for Nord Modular' patch I have just uploaded. Just use the output of the logic processor where you would normally source the clock signal. You can use the 'swing time' module to adjust just that (it is actually a positive edge logic delay). It is set at 4steps per beat, but you can easily change that to two steps with a clock divider between the the clock generator and the event sequencer.
