Putting It All
Together
Now, let’s create a
full-blown flute patch. Let’s include
the following features:
Variation 1 will be
controlled by the envelope generator, and variation 2 will be controlled by the
breath controller. The two concepts are
so similar that we might as well have a single patch do both.
Variation 1
(non-breath-controlled) will have these modulation sources and destinations:
Source |
Destination |
Mod wheel |
Harmonic |
Keyboard velocity |
Output level |
Footswitch |
Growl |
Pitch stick |
Pitch |
Variation 2
(breath-controlled) will have these modulation sources and destinations:
Source |
Destination |
Mod wheel |
Harmonic |
Breath controller |
Air pressure, output
level, overdrive amount, parametric EQ gain |
Footswitch |
Growl |
Pitch stick |
Pitch |
The patch is just too big to
try to put on the screen, so it can be found here. Unlike the previous flute patches, the FX
area contains EQ and reverb modules.
