error_not a folder

I always get this error with a buffer ob.
"error: folder: sounds: not a folder"
but the fodler is in the right place. (my patch/sounds)

where is the mistake?

I don't even know what program, patch or context you're talking about.. but my guess is, check the max search path. You'll have to put samples you use in your buffers, either in the folder where the patch is in or in a folder which is somewhere in the search path, these folders can be specified.

Does this help?

Ooh and you can refer a buffer to a filename, not a folder!
