Thanks to this thread:

http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-24702.html

I now know about A6 Banker. But, since I have so many hardware bits and bobs, I'm also considering this:

http://www.squest.com/Windows/MidiQuest/MidiQuest-About.html

... which I saw posted on Matrixsynth.

Obviously, it costs a lot more than A6 Banker but it also does a lot more too.

I'm interested in what other A6 owners use, both for their A6 and other fx / synths?

Also, any other librarian thingies that I'm unaware of? (I'm on Mac OSX 10.4.11)

I haven't tried it with my A6 yet, but this:

http://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/

works fine with my other synths. It's strictly a librarian -- no editing capabililties, but, on the A6 you've got more knobs that you can shake a stick at, so who needs an editor?

I use a6 banker too.

Y'know those functions of "split program" and bank etc..

Mark programmed them after i sent him a request over email!!

I have a few other things I'd like, and I am having some bug issues.
I plan to send Mark a list of problems, but they are workable at this point so
i don't know when. He basically made the program in his spare time, and i offered him some more money for the implementations..but he refused.

Whoa, thanks for the heads up on midiquest for windows!

Has anybody here tried it with the A6? Does it work as advertised?

bump

Still horribly priced, I need to know - is Midiquest working well for A6? And does it work well with windows 7 64 bit?

Thanks

Does anyone have a link to the a6 banker or some other librarian for andromeda? I prefer Mac Smile

I demoed midi quest, but it didn't work that well, or maybe I just didn't get it...

Cheers! T

I use SysEx Librarian. It's a generic app for MIDI files so it's not Andromeda specific but it works fine for me:
