Hi,

i'm a pretty new max/msp 5 user and i'm trying to import external objects such as the percolate 4.6 externals.
I put the object (for example munger) in the msp-externals folder and the corresponding help patch in the msp-help folder, is this right?

Several questions:
- is it possible to import 4.6 objects in max 5?
- if yes, can somebody explain me how to achieve this, so that max recognizes the object?

Thank you for your help !!

Mumu

Hi and welcome,

I am not a Max expert in any way but your installation idea seems fine to me.

As far as I can see some 4.6 objects work and some don't.

Your best bet is to post a message here http://www.cycling74.com/forums/forums.html with the details of the external you are having problems with

Andy
