Bump!
I realize it doesn't bode well that my first post is a greedy request for dev status from another internet leech. . . but I'm more than happy to help with bug documentation and testing if development is going to continue. I greatly prefer the look and feel of NM1 to Clavia's editor, and being on OS X Leopard, I have a vested interest in getting a real alternative.
I've looked high and low for a recent message about any development that you awesome and generous programmers are in-process with, but the last update is more than a year old.
Any news, good or bad, would be appreciated.
Thanks guys!

Hello,
There was no development on Nomad since the last release. At least no dev I'm aware of.
Christian was the main developer. He told me, some time ago, he was still very much interested by Nomad, but it was impossible for him to continue at the moment. Maybe this will change, maybe not.
I myself did some dev on Nomad, but I cannot become the maintainer of Nomad. This is a big project, needing quite some time to maintain and make evolving.
I can definitely help people getting into the code in order to fix bug or add feature. Contact me if you want get involved.

Thank you for the reply and info Julien, it's much appreciated!
Is there a public bug database at the moment? I've poked around looking for one, but have come up empty-handed so far.
Cheers,

The bug tracker is there:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=69377&atid=524339
If you add bugs, check they are not already entered into the bug tracker. Many bugs need more details, especially how to reproduce them. They also need to be confirmed.
You can add bugs. If you want to modify some of them, you'll need an account and need to be added to the project. Contact me by PM in that case.
Cheers,
Julien |
