Subject description: VCO Daughterboard Stripboard Layout
Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

Here's a stripboard layout I put together as a daughterboard for Jurgen Haible's Living VCOs. It incorporates Scott Stites' wavething sub oscillator and triangle and sine shapers from Yves Usson's VCO. Three of these can fit side by side on a 100mm x 160mm stripboard, which is the same size as the main board. My own Living VCO board is still waiting on a component order, but this board has been tested with a 10v peak to peak saw wave.

Some build notes:
Transistors are 2n3819 NOT MPF-102 which Scott used in his schematic. The pin-outs are different, the 2n3819 has the gate on the middle pin.
There are a couple of unbroken tracks beneath U3 and U5.
Op-amp decoupling caps should be added to the copper side of the board.
There's no noise filtering on the power rails, but there should be space to add some.
The unmarked terminal at pin 2 of U4 is the pulse width CV.
