I wanted touchcontacts on my TR-505, but then I thought:

I have these banana chassis parts, sturdy and nice looking, and all metal parts covered in plastic (banana1) :

But I also have these:

They are dead cheap, rather dodgy , not machined but pressed out of metal tube I think. They are not all uniformly shaped. Sometimes the threading on the post is badly formed, nuts are flimsy as well. I have to throw away one in every ten or so. (banana2)

BUT: metal is exposed on top. These would serve very nicely as banana inputs and touchcontacts combined.
And they need less depth inside your device than the other version.

wow, banana with metal exposed on top! Usefull combination and it seems easy to screw and fix to chassis.

They are 12.99$ (Canadian Dollars) for 100 plugs.
