Hello,
I am trying to make a lo-fi or "megaphone" sounding patch stop feeding back. I have added a little overdrive and filtered out the low and hi frequencies. The patch sounds good. Problem is, I cannot for the life of me use it at a show without feedback being a huge problem Sad Too much gain maybe?? I set the noise gate to almost as high as if will go (highest threshold, I mean) and that helps a *little* but the patch is still really unusable at my live show. I will upload the patch here once I get home. Thank you.

Put the noise gate before the compressor like in the attached patch.
You can also try to find the frequency band which generate feedback. Here at home, with my hardware, this frequency is near 1,75 khz. It's probably different for you. Just try.
