After reading this thread, I thought I'd try another shot at quadrature oscillators.

This solution is simple, multiplexing a single PhaseOsc. The outputs are 48kHz, but the oscillator will respond faithfully to sync and exponential FM.

EDIT: I forgot to copy the patch to all variations. Be careful.

EDIT 2: I have to specify: If the response to expFM and sync should be 100% accurate, you'll have to downsample the FM or sync source down to 48k. This takes a mere S/H module clocked by the 48k clock which is already there (the feedbacked audiorate inverter module). Syncing to or modulating by blue signals works without this precaution, because these clock at 24k.

Great idea Tim

Works very well. Lots of possibilities.

Oh i get it, it is as if the FM causes the osc phase to be in two places at once but the sample and holds determine which location is listened to.. smart! Was looking at for ages wondering how it was doing it! Cheers. Smile Course this would work with lfos at the 24bit rate.

Cheers. Smile Multiplexing is your friend. The only limitation is the sample frequency you need at the outputs. I could wring 16 different phase outputs @ 12k from just one oscillator. In one of my granular patches, I squeezed 8 delay taps @48k out of a 4-tap delay. The G2 audio rate is quite high (96k), so multiplexing/downsampling is often a workable solution.
