Can I record notes send"midi note Send" module to my DAW?

Hey

I am experimenting a bit with sequenzing external synth from the G2 and I also tried sending midi notes from the G2 to the DAW. But the midi notes send from the G2 doesnt seem to be recognized by the DAW(Logic). There are no incoming notes to the computer.

When I connect a midi cable from G2 Midi out to Micro Q midi in, the Micro Q plays the midi notes as it should. So I am pretty sure I have set the internal midi routing in the g2 up in the right way.

To wrap it up in a simple question; how can I record the midi notes send from the G2 "midi note send" module to the computer?

Just to be sure .. you are aware that you can not do so over USB?

Yes, I have the G2 connected with midi as well as USB. I know USB is for the editor and midi I/O is for midi cc, notes, etc.

as I wrote, when midi cable is connected directly between G2 midi out and Micro Q midi in, Micro Q receives the notes send from G2. But when I connect G2 midi out to midiinterface in, my computer and DAW doesnt receive the notes.

Anyway, will experiment again today and see what comes out of it.

If I was rude, I apologize.

Anyway, found out that it was a Logic issue. Had done some modding in Logic environment that blocked for the incoming midi notes on G2s midi channel.
