TL071 offset pins?

Looking at the schem (CGS 35) from Ken Stone's site, there is no info on whether pin 1 & 5 (offset pins) are connected to anything. Looking in the datasheet, I see they are used for adjusting voltage offset between the pos and inv inputs - none of that going on in the cgs schem that I can see.

Just to make sure, as I'm doing my own layout: The offset pins shouldn't be connected to anything? Ground them out? Leave them?

Looking at his board layout, it doesn't look like pins 1 and 5 are connected to anything.

Hm, guess you're right about that. I actually looked at that, and thought I was seeing jumpers between pin 1<>8 and 4<>5, but now I see it's actually part of the silkscreen... Embarassed

Gotta learn not to post when I'm tired... Rolling Eyes
