maybe I am wrong but isn't the song misnamed?
I do not expect Eldorado to be so somber, I would expect something shinier. Besides that it's "easy on the ear" Very Happy well done

Thanks, I do not know if it's misnamed.
I was noodling with a few synths when things took some kind of shape and I followed it.
This piece was made with Emagic EVB3 organ, Native Instruments FM7 (high pitched chimes), Reason (vibes samples and "Recycled" drum loop) and Access Virus C (arpeggiators). All recorded, mixed etc with Logic Pro 6 (on a G4, of course Exclamation ) welcome

I don't find this somber. The mood is pleasant enough. It's certainly not hyper-energetic.

I don't like this as much as some of your other stuff, Carlo. It's pretty repeatitive and predictable. The sounds are nice and blend well together, but the four note decending scale doesn't do much for me. Sorry... Embarassed

Very pretty and delicate. I never would have thought about the title being appropriate or not, but now that K mentions it, Eldorado doesn't seem to fit. Wasn't Eldorado the city of gold the Conquistadors never found? I too do not find the piece to be somber.

I know what you mean but I was trying to achieve an hypnotic mood through repetitiveness, maybe I exaggerated Very Happy

nice. kind of a lo-fi aesthetic here. sounds like an early stage of a PS2 rpg game soundtrack. this should be in a video game, actually. Smile
my compliments. don't have much more to say than that.

This is a bit too nice and easy floating to my taste.

I had a close encounter with you're website and found a lat more interesting stuff. Like the "Minestronic" and "Noeco" albums.
Noeco I liked aspecialy. That sounds less polished than the others.

I like this one a lot but I just discovered that it sounds quite different on the studio monitors than on the small Apple computer speakers I have connected to the PB. I expected the song to retain that little raw edge it had on the Apple speakers. So.. the only thing I am missing here is that extra little something soundwise, the piece itself is nice and I like nice.

Any new material Carlo?

I guess you are right, I am getting older and more inclined toward smoothing raw edges.

thanks for spending some time with my music. "Noeco" sounds less polished because was recorded live (almost: the vocals were recorded separately) directly into my Digi001.
