Matthias,
If they ship together with the two VC switch boards I ordered, reducing cost of shipping, I would like two please.
Thanks |

I was lucky enough to get on the last run, but I'd be in for another. I paid for a sequential switch already, if these can be shipped together it would save postage. _________________ LektroiD |

yes. however the shipping would change. refer to the SeqSwitch PCB concerning shipping, please.
since i order the PCBs together with the SeqSwitch PCBs, i will mail them together - so one would have to pay only once for p&p.
await PM concerning paypement when the boards are in (approx. mid-may). _________________

Got mine too. They look so nice I might just put them in little frames and hang them on the wall. |

I'm trying to work out which zener diode I need for this board and failing...
can anyone suggest a suitable replacement for
Quote: | The Zener Diode defines the offset voltage. I used Z5.1 (1N715A,
1N4733A) for approx 5V. Simply select the value you want. |
from rapid?

i used a 500mW 5.1V diode, which has been sufficient.
rapid #47-3014
you could also use a 1.3W version.
rapid #47-3056
hope that helps. _________________

thank you for your interest.
i don't want to discourage anyone, however give me some time. there are other projects coming first (VCPS, RingMod, Clock), and the logistics of a PCB sale are not to underestimate... _________________

sorry if that came across badly time wise
just an expression of interest
as in all your projects
if and when is of course entirely up to you
will wait patiently or at least try too
looking forward to the VCPS and the clock projects |

Finished an Attenuverting Mixer today, and encounter a problem.
I can't calibrate channels 1 and 4. Channels 2, 3 and 5 work as expected after calibrating. The output voltage of channel 1 and 4 goes from 0V (left end) to 6.50V (right end)
For channel 2,3 and 5: -6.50V (left), 0V (center), 6.50V (right)
The mix output stays at -11V
Didn't wire up the AC/DC switch yet. _________________ Weblog! |

so it does something? that's great
it is actually a small circuitry, so we will find the error soon, i guess.
what's the boards revision? _________________

there are a few things i wonder about, though:
how come the 6.5V: which zener diode did you use?
not wiring the switch will just keep the module in AC mode. so refering to the -11V (DC?) there will be something wrong in the summing stage, too.
how to you power the module, 12V or 15V? _________________

I'm back at my modular place.
I power the modules from +/- 15V
Hm, on the zener, I read BZX 850, but that can be anything, the value is towards the pcb, so can't read that. Is there a way to measure it? _________________ Weblog! |
