Matthias, how does the VC has been implemented on the panner?

symmetrical, asymmetrical and what are the voltages?

the board basicly contains 4 differential pair based VCA with linear response.
i am not quite sure about the term (a)symmetrical. i fear i know what you mean. since the VCAs response to positive CV, and two of the VCAs are fed by inverted CVs without any offset, there is alway a attenuation of the signal during the fade.
in the context of the PS3100 it doesn't matter at all, since there is always the center channel present. you may recognize the effect more clearly, when only left and right input are used. rehear the soundsamples, you will recognize what i mean. as said before, the x-panner is an extension board in first degree. however, you can decide based on the soundsamples yourself.
hope that helps.

hi all,

i am not finished with updating the list with advance orders, sorry.

however, today i got aware that the german postal service changed their prices for international mails. they became a little bit undescent lately, i'd say. so i have to change the pricing for international shipping according to the new circumstances.
if you don't feel comfortable with it and want to change you advance order, don't hesitate to contact me again.

PRICING:
(under the assumption of minimum advance orders for 50 PCB each):
PS3100 PCB 13.-USD/10.-EUR
X-Panner PCB 10.-USD/7.50EUR

+ packaging & postage
1 PCB 4.-USD, more than 1 PCB 8.-USD worldwide
3.- EUR europe
2.- EUR deutschland

Fonik, I would like 1 Resonator PCB and 2 X-panfader PCBs.
(I believe I already requested one of each PCB - but I would like to update)

To reiterate, my order is for one of each (1x reso / 1x panner). When you're ready can you invoice me the total with shipping to the UK.

Many thanks Smile

Hi Fonik,

I'd be interested in one or two panner/fader boards depending on how much panel space they take up. From what I can tell is there are two inputs and two outputs, plus mono out, plus a CV in and a pot to manual control the pan/fade, is that correct?

Thanks,
Dave

the X-panner board provides following I/Os
    - 3(!) audio inputs (left, center, right)
    - 2 audio outputs (left, right - the mono output is from the resonators)
    - 1 potentiometer (manual spread)
    - 2 CV inputs (one with on/off switch)
    - 2 connectors for the PS3100 resonators (power and audio)

hope that helps.

i did not plan to do this PCBs almost at the same time as the TH SCM, therefor the documentation is not finished yet. sorry.

[edited for clarity]

i am taking advance orders until 27 FEB 09, then the files will be sent to the manufacturer - i will order some spares, though.

i will PM everyone concerning payment as soon as the PCBs arrived at my door. BTW everyone who placed an order whould have received a PM by now.

some of you already ordered TH SCM PCBs. in these cases i could hold the SCM PCBs until the PS3100/panner PCBs are in to send them together, thus saving you some postage -and causing me some logistic nightmare Laughing . however i would have to call for seperate payment for the SCM PCBs when they are in: it has not been my plan to do these PCBs in that timely manner in the first place, just because of all the upfront payment i have to do. somehow it just happened. Very Happy
send me a PM if you want to have it this way, please.

One of each. I think. There's a strong temptation to get two panners, but I'm short on cash and keep talking myself out of it.
