Thanks shanemorris Very Happy

I've done mine, but it's only 2 mins length, for me it's all right but you said it goes from 4 to 10 mins lengths. So is it still okay or should I make it longer ?

Nikomak.. no 2 mins is fine. That was just more of a suggested length. Thanks for participating. I look forward to hearing yours and everyone's music.

Greetings Everyone!

We are nearing that November 20, 2010 deadline to complete our first annual electro-music Field Recording Composition Project!

Thanks to everyone who has already sent their tracks in to João at EdP! Im not sure what the total count is at this point, but I know we have a few in there currently.
So...
Please
begin to wrap up (or in my case... get started) your compositions and send them over João's way at editoradoporto@gmail.com

Thanks everyone for participating and making this project something special. Im really looking forward to hearing the final release. Razz

So far, seven tracks are in and I must say this is promising, going to be a very interesting release.
A big thank you to those who've contributed and here's to hoping more people get involved.

Cheers
party time!

Received klangumsetzer Wink

I'm adding to the lot my contribution as Ponto.
Samples used:

beating a dead piano.wav
fountain_183.wav
injured Steinway.wav
match_642.wav
phobos__musique_mecanique__music_box_tin_444.wav
swordsharpening_600.wav

By the way, shouldn't there be a name for the compilation?
Any suggestions?

Hi there.

How the Hell Do I download these clips? I'm slightly Computer retarded. Embarassed

I have a PC and These all come up quicktime...

There is probably something easy that I just don't know about.

I Finally have my workspace all ready to go. I hate to have to record them out of my computer then back in just so's I can chop'em. scratch

All my gear is OTB but If I can chop'em on my Compubox it would make my life a billion times easier

Hi JRock!

Have you tried clicking the right mouse button over the download links?
Then a menu with "Save to disk" or similar should appear allowing you to download the file (I'm using a Mac so forgive my vague suggestion).

Thanks For the response OCP. I can only figger on how to save the link. I don't know how to get the sample into Audacity...

It's ok. I was mostly just overwhelmed. I just finished recording the samples I imagine I can use for my music into my MPC1000. Now It's time to chop'em up the old Fashioned way Cool
