I splitted the thread.
Hope the title is what you mean.

About the Pitch and Wheel controllers, try Global Midi channel 16 setting; Wheel is send by Midi CC 1.

The world is devided about this...
You and I know it, the rest doesn't Wink

The Wheel is [Manual Page 69: first line under Controllers]; Midi channel 16, well, the Lead is a synth which isn't documented completely, maybe due to the dead line of the presentation back in 1995. (That old? Yes, sir! And still in production) Wait until you want to use the 'Left most Slot Midi control' Very Happy
And I have to do something too! Wink

I never met a stupid Italian, but it could read 'until now' Wink I'm sure there will be some...
In this case the Manual is to blame, I assure you.

Is the Rack second hand?
Do you have the Manual?

BTW on stage, without a computer, the PCMCIA cards are rather important to work flexible.

Quote:
Controllers
t The Modulation wheel is transmitted and received via MIDI as Controller 1 (Modulation wheel).

Maybe THEY are STUPID!!!!
Smile

You don't want to know Smile
Manual page 71 - second text under Midi Channels wrote:
All four Program Slots always receive MIDI, regardless of which one is selected, or if layering of one or more slots is activated or not.
However, all Slots used in a Layer (i.e. all Slots that are activated) will also receive on the MIDI channel set for the leftmost active Slot!
This means that if you have a layer consisting of Slots A, B and D, and Slot A is set to MIDI channel 1, both Slots B and D will receive on channel 1, as well as on their respective set channels.
So here the troubles starts, because this is only true for the NordRack1. See http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/Red_Lady/Index_bestanden/Red_Lady/LeftMost_Midi.htm

I would keep one more, because Performances are important when performing on stage and each card only holds 100... (or 697 Programs) See http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/Red_Lady/Index_bestanden/Red_Lady/Prgm_Lay_Perf_01.htm

Just take a good look at her. Ask yourself: "What could she do?"

She is very good at it Smile

There is only one, which is never been updated, really.

Which do you own?
All four (NL. NL2, NL2X and NL3) and some more, but these are classified to service stations only...

It is on my wifes and mine's wish list Smile
Maybe next spring for 10 days.
