the oscillators/ filters and vca audiochain is analog, almost all modulationsources and routes as well as the envelopgenerators and lfo-sequenser etc digital.
only the modulations of osc to osc (fm) or filter , or noise /external in to osc or filter are pure analogsignals.
you might see it as a analogmodular with (2X16) oscillators , (2X32) filters and a noise/external module, steered by an enormeous dedicated modulationcomputer.

Looks like yuo answered your own question. besides, the ColdFire isn't fast enough to do that much synthesis.

I think I read someone say it could be a great noodle machine. I would love to hear an mp3 of an Andromeda noodle.
