Please do not jump to the ceiling: it is a newbie question!

I looked in the Circuit Bending forum and looked also at the CGS VCO and the CGS VCA but it I am still trying to understand what it exactly needs so I can start with some own projects I would like to breadboard.

What is the method to make any sound source react to control voltage, starting maybe more simply with an oscillator source where no CV IN would be implemented?
Guess the important matter is the 1v/oct tracking?

I am not sure if what I ask is a simple pitch bending question! So you see how confused I am about this subject. I hope you can help me understanding this and maybe have circuit examples.

Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks to yogi who mentionned this page when I did more generally ask how to control voltage, here are some very interesting infos about vactrols :

fr whatever its worth, dont think that no one is interested in this question-i was. I know how to easily add CV on/off to most devices, but actual simple, easy ways to add to already existing noise-synth type devices so that you can actually perfectly control pitch and so forth has been difficult, more difficult than i would think, to find.
ill check out the links later. thanks!
