Ok.
And if you make a "hybrid" e.g. take a more rigid material and make a spiral out of it (glass fiber sheet maybe?) or print a carrier of more rigid material, and print on top of that the resistive material (like your first picture, but than a spiral)

I would not cut a material for a base, rather I would print an insulating material in the desired shape. What shape are you intending to communicate, your message is not easy to understand (for me).

Hmmm, funny thing I just realized - an actual seven segmented resistor shape would do nicely here - things that make you go hmmm...

I have had some success printing these, the key was to print a thinner insulating layer of PLA underneath and also to print the conductive filament hotter. Works like a charm now. I have four perfect ones and three scratch and dent ones.
