It is kinda obscene that you can buy a used Yamaha Vss-30 for £5-£10 on ebay. Add a few banana jacks, some switches, and solder them to a board in a roundabout random fashion- and some sucker will pay you £250+++ to take it off your hands!

better start on my beloved vss-30 :(

Incidently, I've got a casio VA-10 too. If you find one of these, snap it up- 'cos it has a really wacked-out 8-bit FX box built in.

VA-10 oddities include random vibrato through an all meta- hot-tub reverb unit- or insane feedback pitch changing through fizzy dub echo- all in glorious stereo of course :D hmmm, why can't plugins sound as good as this?!
