Hey all,

I have made a little video of the MB909 sequencer hooked up with the 9090 boards. combined you have the greatest TR-909 clone (that's just my opinion because I put a lot of time in it ).

I am using the NXP LPC1769 based MBHP_CORE_LPC17 module from MidiBox. Thorsten has done a great job with the MidiBox Sequencer V4 (SD card, USB, OSC....).? The PCB, that you see in this video, is my TR909-looking user interface design.

the quality is bad, but you'll have at least a feeling of how my sequencer will be.

I am now working on the frontpanel design for the beta version. once that is done, I'll ship the beta version to the test group.

When the beta test is done, I'll organize a bulkorder.

All this should be done this summer,....a bit more patience Sad

Cheers,

Jef

Hey Jef,

do you plan the bulk order with a complete 9090 kit, or is it possible to get the sequencer alone?

I plan to build the sequencer as a stand alone version, so the pcb + switches etc. would be enough in my case. I already have all the midibox stuff (LPC17), too.

Best regards,
Lars

Lars,

yes the bulkorder will be separate from the 9090 bulkorders (next 9090 bulkorder closes in about two weeks).

Cheers,

Jef

wow, looks nice!

Can't wait for sequencer-pcb bulk order Wink
Or if you still need people for beta testing the seq, I'd be in for sure.

Cheers,
Lars

I'm down for beta testing as well, if you need help! I'm an electronics designer myself Smile
